It gives us great pleasure to share the findings of the Alumni Survey with you. The Alumni Survey was sent via email to all College alumni in the fall of 2012 - from the most recent graduating class to those who graduated more than 50 years ago!

We have been analyzing the data over the past year and we thought you would enjoy some of these interesting findings, displayed below. We also encourage you to take a look at the Summer 2013 edition of Middlebury Magazine, which included a snapshot overview of key findings and interview with President Liebowitz regarding the survey.

Our mission is to continually improve the education and experience we provide to our students, and your willingness to share your thoughts with us about your College years is an invaluable resource for measuring our success. SATISFACTION WITH EDUCATION 97% of alumni are very or somewhat satisfied with their Middlebury education.

MIDD MEDICAL Alumni who pursued a medical degree majored in many different fields while at Middlebury, representing 34 of 39 majors.

PROGRAM EFFECTIVENESS The percentage of alums who reported that Middlebury made a meaningful contribution to their development in the following areas: 92% Critical and creative thinking 90% The ability to write clearly and effectively 88% Foundations and skills for lifelong learning

GRADUATE DEGREES 63% of alumni have received or are working towards an advanced degree.

VOLUNTEERS 73% of alumni currently or in the past have volunteered in their local communities or for national nonprofit organizations.
